An avid communicator at work and at home, Kate—a frequent and enthusiastic Facebook status updater (or so she’s told)— is always on the hunt for new ways to cut through the social media noise and truly make a statement on behalf of her clients in the Consumer Lifestyle and GreenWorks practices. This former New Yorker, a self-confessed news junkie who sheepishly admits to having both a Blackberry AND a Treo, hones her social media skills by spending much of her downtime consuming as much as she can—often to the chagrin of her husband Jeff and Cavalier King Charles Dixie—via Twitter and LinkedIn, following noted social media commentators such as AdWeek’s Brian Morrissey and Edelman’s Steve Rubel. You can also find her poring over countless PR, green, business, news and entertainment blogs and websites; from Tree Hugger, Ecorazzi, and Grist to Gawker, Politico, and Perez Hilton (her not-so-secret guilty pleasure)— you name it, she’s likely monitoring it!
